Service
Torve is a media companion for discovery, organization, sync, device linking, and account-backed workflows. Torve does not provide movies, shows, channels, playlists, streams, IPTV service, or rights to third-party content.
Free software model
Torve is free software under AGPL-3.0-or-later. No subscription or purchase is required. There are no paid tiers, feature purchases, donor-only features, or supporter benefits. Donations are optional and never unlock features.
Accounts
Accounts are required only for account-backed services such as sync, device linking, account-backed cloud data, account export requests, account deletion, ownership boundaries, and security controls. Account registration is not a purchase.
User responsibilities
- Use only lawful content sources and third-party services you are permitted to access.
- Keep account credentials and devices secure.
- Do not bypass authentication, ownership, privacy, device-security, or anti-abuse controls.
- Do not upload credentials, private logs, or sensitive user data to public support channels.
Donations
If donations are offered, they are voluntary support only. They do not create access rights, quotas, badges, support priority, storage, sync, themes, content, or other product capabilities.
Historical payment records
Historical purchase and transaction records may be retained where necessary for refunds, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and support. They do not determine product access.
Termination
Torve may suspend or terminate account-backed services where required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or material violation of these terms.
